It’s Valentines Day. I’ve been thinking about Kaden since I woke up this morning.

Kaden wasn’t conceived on the 14th of February. It was probably more around the 23rd. But I associate Valentines Day with him.

During the month of February 2011, Garrack was in Texas for work. We were going to miss our first Valentines Day together, so we decided to celebrate the holiday late when I flew out to Texas to visit him for a long weekend.

A great weekend it was. From the moment I stepped off the plane and saw him, it was amazing. At the hotel he had flowers, my favorite candy, and a beautiful necklace waiting for me. It was the best “Valentines Day” I had ever had.

But today… Garrack is in Colorado. Kaden is in heaven.
